For example: If you stretch a one-inch piece of a rubber band between your two hands, you may be able to stretch it three or four inches. But, you would be stressing it 100% of its’ capability. When completed, a “hollow” sound may be heard when the tennis ball bounces directly on the portion of the repair that is not bonded to the court.
